Remarks

The SQL Server SNMP extension agent (Sqlsnmp.dll) is server software that extends the functionality of the SNMP service. The SNMP agent processes requests for data and data objects that reside on the local server.

Note  If an application calls SNMPExtensionAgents on an instance of SQL Server version 7.0, the constant, SQLDMO_E_SQL80ONLY, and the message "This property or method requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000" are returned.
