Remarks

For SQLServer or RegisteredServer objects, the VersionMajor property returns a value exposing the major version number of the Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2000 product installed.

For the Application object, the VersionMajor property returns a value exposing the major version number of the SQL-DMO object library.
