The Parent property of the MDStore interface contains a reference to the parent of the MDStore object.

The ClassType value of the returned object depends on the value of the ClassType property of the object.

Remarks

The return type of the Parent property depends on the ClassType property of the object itself. For example, an object of ClassType clsDatabase has an MDStores collection that contains objects of ClassType clsCube. The object of ClassType clsDatabase is the parent of the clsCube objects.
