The tables in the following sections list all of the major components of MDAC. For each major component, all of the executable modules that are or ever were part of the component are listed. Demos and SDK tools are not included in this list; they are generally not redistributable without the MDAC SDK. The description of each module is also listed.
Note Do not use the redistributable files (listed in the Shipped in column of the component tables) to create a substitute for the redistributable setup program. Microsoft does not recommend or support redistribution of the MDAC files without using the redistributable setup program. Additionally, redistribution of some of the files is restricted in accordance with the terms of the end-user license agreement (EULA) provided with each version of MDAC. See the section in this article titled Redistributing MDAC for more information.
