IDataConvert::CanConvert

Returns information about whether the conversion from the specified source type to the specified destination type is supported.

HRESULT CanConvert (
   DBTYPE   wSrcType,
   DBTYPE   wDstType);

Parameters

wSrcType: [in]
The source type of the conversion to be verified.
wDstType: [in]
The destination type of the conversion to be verified.

Return Code

S_OK: The method succeeded and the conversion is supported.
S_FALSE: The requested conversion is not supported.
E_INVALIDARG: One or more of the DBTYPE values specified was invalid.
