How to view the data and log files in a backup set (Enterprise Manager)
To view the data and log files in a backup set
- Expand a server group, and then expand a server.
- Expand Databases, right-click the database, point to All Tasks, and then click Restore Database.
- Click From device, and then click Select devices.
- Under Restore from, click Tape or Disk, and then select a device from which to restore.
If no backup destinations appear, click Add to add an existing backup device or to create a new one. The backup device must reference the backup device files created at the primary server.
- In the Restore Database dialog box, click View contents.
