How to create a mixed model

An English Query application based on a mixed model allows access to the Microsoft® SQL Server™ tables that underlie an OLAP cube. English Query first attempts to answer the questions using the OLAP cube. If unsuccessful, it then accesses the data in the underlying SQL Server tables.

To create a mixed model

1. Enable SQL on the Data Connection tab of the Project Properties dialog box.
   
   
2. Add any tables that are necessary for the model.
   
   
3. Create the entities and relationships needed for the model.
